MPS has an immediate opening for a Field Technician working onsite at Cleveland Cliffs.
General Description:
Field Technicians are general laborer that load and unload equipment, setup and breakdown equipment, line trailers, drive trucks, operate equipment, or any other systems and processes for the job, as well as performing daily manual labor in an industrial setting as defined below.
Essential Job Functions:
- Inspection of yard truck(s) and Trailers (Documented)
- Hooking and unhooking of tractors
- Tarping and untarping of trailers
- Placing liners inside trailers
- Operating Excavator and Wheeled Loader
- Load verification at each terminal
- Documentation of Driver / Spotter / Operator communication at each terminal
- Switching out/re-spotting of trailers under chutes at multiple terminals inside AK Steel
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to understand basic equipment operating instructions, safe work practices, commercial and industrial process
- Must possess a current driver s license
- Chauffer license a plus
- OSHA Safety Training a plus
