Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across various areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure thorough sanitation and maintenance.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning as needed to preserve their appearance and safety.
- Handle janitorial duties such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
- Assist with light custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to management for quick resolution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
