Warehouse Supervisor.
24/7 Facility Manager
MUST HAVE 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE MANAGING 40 EMPLOYEES.
Position Responsibilities:
- Enforces compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulations including but not limited to OSHA regulations and all other state and city regulations
- Working knowledge in W.M.S. and Inventory Control Applications
- Maintains MPR’s standards of warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Provides on-going training and orientations for associates to ensure compliance with Company requirements and policies
- The Supervisor provides leadership as well as motivating, training, and developing of the team
- Coordinate scheduling of personnel with Director to ensure proper staffing in order to receive and distribute products/materials at the facility in a productive and cost-effective manner
- Monitor, tracks, and reports to the Manager, in regardto Attendance, tardiness, etc. that impact productivity
- Verify accuracy of all inbound/outbound shipments
- Coordinate the unloading of all shipments using established procedures
- Inspects damaged cartons for concealed damage to product and documents accordingly
- Prepare and generate warehouse productivity reports for management.
- Follow Manager directives; keep the Manager advised of any one off or ongoing issues
- Performs inventory controls and keeps quality standards high for audits; may also assist in the counting of physical inventory
- Use of technology such as scanners, computers, and handheld printers
- Working knowledge of developing and implementing KPI's
- Working knowledge of warehouse & distribution operations including inbound, inventory control, and outbound operations
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all personnel at levels both internal and external
Education & Experience
High school or equivalent, minimum of five years of warehousing Management.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proficient knowledge of MS Office Applications and advanced knowledge of MPR and/or Customer Inventory Control and Courier software; Shipping and mailing system specific to location. Ability to assist IT in resolving system issues.

Forklift Certification: Valid state issued Drivers' License, TSA Certified.
Other Skills and Abilities
Be able to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, electric pallet jack, shrink-wrap machines etc.)
Physical Requirements:
ð Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without the use of material handling equipment
ð Ability to work in different positions for long periods of time– stand, sit, bend, and kneel
ð Must be flexible to work overtime as necessary including weekends and holidays.
ð Ability to work in a fast pace, high volume distribution environment
ð Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse.
