Join our expanding, dynamic, financial team as a Financial Planning Associate (Paraplanner). As a key contributor, you will support financial advisors in creating tailored financial plans, analyzing complex data, and supporting the delivery of integrated financial services that help clients achieve their long-term goals. Essential Functions
- Responsible for collecting documents from clients, entering client data into financial planning software, and completing the baseline, non-client-facing work associated with the financial planning process.
- Preparing financial planning documentation, ready for endorsement by the financial advisor.
- Preparing and comparing different financial modelling for clients.
- Generating reports and presenting them.
- Maintaining client files.
- Follow-up with clients on information or requests and prepare documents to be sent out.
- Fact-finding and data checking.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our investment philosophy and strategies and understand how to incorporate our investment philosophy into financial planning recommendations.
- Keep current on financial planning topics, software updates, planning techniques, tax law changes, etc..., and develop mechanisms for communicating the changes effectively.
- Identify and share best practices in planning and delivering planning to clients.

Salary
$60,000 to $75,000 per year depending on experience.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 years financial planning experience.
- Bachelors' degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience.
- Background in Finance preferred
- CFP or FPQP designation preferred
