Principal Area of Responsibility:
- Responsible for Tool Ordering, Replacement, New and Material for Machine Shops. (Where Tooling or Tool is stated, this includes Compaction, Sizing, and Machining Fixtures. Material mostly applies to Compaction, Sizing and Machining Fixtures but may include Gages)
- Assist Tool Design in Tool Maintenance and record keeping.
- Responsible for the proper care and storage of all tooling, adaption and other tooling related components.
Specific Duties:

- Communication of Tooling status with Outside Suppliers, Internal Shop and Engineering

- Scanning Logs and E-filing
- Recording of Completed Jobs
- Review of Pass Downs for Actions (concerning tooling)
- Collaboration
- Review Quotes with Engineering
- Review of Tool Fit Concerns

Qualifications:
- Use of Basic Measuring equipment, i.e.: Micrometers, Comparators, Dial Indicators, Calipers, Magnifying Aids, etc.
- Tooling in regard to how it functions, assembles and works to create a component part.
- Detailed oriented so as to identify possible problems with tooling that may result in a manufacturing issue or nonconforming product.
- Experience in PM Industry
