Entry-Level Machine Loader / Production Associate
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, motivated individual for an entry-level manufacturing position. This role is responsible for loading and unloading machines, following work instructions, and supporting safe, quality-focused production operations. No prior machining experience is required—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Work Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload production machines efficiently and safely.
- Read, understand, and follow job instructions and work orders.
- Perform basic computer data entry and job tracking functions.
- Learn and use measuring and inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and other gaging instruments.
- Maintain quality standards and follow established quality procedures.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and guidelines.
- Successfully complete on-site forklift training and operate equipment as authorized.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate production, quality, or safety concerns to supervisors as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, squat, bend, and move throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Training Provided
- Production equipment and machine operation.
- Use of micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Forklift operation and certification training.
