Hardware Validation & Diagnostics Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware Validation & Diagnostics Engineer to support server and GPU platform validation, troubleshooting, and automation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hardware diagnostics, scripting, Linux environments, and system-level debugging.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for server platforms.
- Design and implement diagnostic tools and scripts for early hardware validation and fault isolation.
- Identify and resolve setup issues and test failures using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
- Develop and maintain test automation using Python and Shell scripting.
- Work with motherboards and GPU platforms in lab environments.
- Support systems connected through Ethernet, NVLink, and Infiniband networking protocols.
- Operate in Linux and Windows environments for debugging and validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support diagnostics, validation, and NPI product transitions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong scripting expertise in Python and Shell.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of hardware protocols such as Ethernet, Infiniband, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, and SPI.
- Experience working with CPU and GPU platforms.
- Familiarity with hardware validation tools and test equipment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
