You will learn to assess golfers individual needs, develop personalized training plans, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to treat a variety of sports related golf injuries.
This unique position offers an exciting opportunity to treat patients outside of the traditional insurance based pay models and offers a commission based pay structure to reward you for your work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate physical function, mobility, and pain levels.
- Develop and implement tailored programs incorporating wholistic approach bridging physical therapy techniques and performance based exercises.
- Provide hands-on treatment including manual therapy, stretching, and modalities to promote healing and restore joint and soft tissue mobility.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
- Conduct golf fitness evaluations and implement custom training programs to help them improve their golf performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Stay current with advancements in physiology knowledge, training/fitness concepts, research related to injury and human performance to deliver evidence-based care aligned with best practices.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist
- Must be an avid golfer
- Proven experience in outpatient settings, including clinic experience with a focus on orthopedics and manual therapy
- Background in coaching
- Experience with training or work in fitness centers
- Self motivated and good with creating structure to manage a fluid schedule
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient record management.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
