MPOWER Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Lead Personal Trainer to oversee our Green Hills personal training team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated fitness professional who enjoys coaching others, building client relationships, and leading a high-performing team within a collaborative healthcare environment.
As the Lead Personal Trainer, you'll continue working with your own clients while mentoring trainers, driving business growth, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
What You'll Do- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Personal Trainers
- Maintain an active personal training client base and meet weekly training session expectations
- Achieve monthly personal training sales and productivity goals
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor new trainers alongside the Fitness & Wellness Manager
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and accountability
- Manage trainer schedules to maximize client satisfaction and team productivity
- Lead weekly team meetings and foster a positive, collaborative culture
- Serve as the primary liaison between the personal training team, clinicians, and leadership
- Promote collaboration between physical therapy and personal training services
- Resolve client concerns professionally and ensure an outstanding customer experience
- Complete payroll, reporting, and administrative responsibilities accurately and on time
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional training environment
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Business, or a related field
- Nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification
- At least 2 years of personal training experience
- Leadership or management experience in a fitness environment preferred
- Experience working alongside healthcare or rehabilitation professionals is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and coaching skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fitness management software (Mindbody experience preferred)
