Janitor

Mpower Direct is looking for a part time janitor to maintain the cleanliness of our office. The janitor will work to ensure upkeep and safety of the office, under the supervision of the office leadership team.

The ideal candidate is comfortable as a team player who can take and follow directions and promote a safe work environment for all. The candidate should also be comfortable in a role that is physically demanding as some duties may require lifting of 20 pounds or more, standing, sitting, bending and walking. The position will also require minor handyman skills for jobs around the office.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to

• Ability to support both interior and exterior facility cleanliness as necessary, including office entrances, common outdoor areas, and surrounding property maintenance
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory, and coordinate reordering of products as needed
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in designated receptacles throughout the facility
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to ensure all areas remain clean and presentable
• Promptly report unsafe conditions, maintenance issues, or repair needs to supervisors
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and office surfaces to maintain a neat and professional environment
• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to clean, sanitize, and maintain facilities in accordance with company standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
  
  
  

Mandatory work schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9am-2pm

Starting Pay $11.00/hr
