Responsibilities- Assemble precision assemblies using drills, reamers, countersinks, and spot face tools.
- Install press fit and force fit bushings.
- Assemble and install aircraft and spacecraft parts and equipment.
- Perform bench top assemblies with or without the aid of jigs and fixtures.
- Ensure quality and accuracy by trimming, shimming, and removing surface defects.
- Minimum 2 years of assembly experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation
- Aircraft assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency in using general metrology tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented
- Experience with various types of aircraft fasteners (rivets, pull rivets, hi-loks, etc.)
- Minimum 1 year of aircraft sealer experience
