Required Qualifications
- 5 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and bank reconciliations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience managing accounting processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an accounting or finance leadership position
- Manufacturing accounting experience
- Inventory accounting experience
- Experience working within ERP software(s)
- Experience supporting payroll, benefits, and other administrative functions in a small business environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Primary Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, and general accounting activities
- Perform and review account reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Maintain fixed asset and inventory accounting records
- Support financial reporting, management reporting, and cash management activities
- Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, banks, insurance providers, and other service partners
- Assist with tax filings, compliance requirements, and related reporting obligations
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
Staff Support & Process Improvement
- Help develop and maintain documented accounting procedures and controls
- Assist with workload prioritization and cross-training efforts
Human Resources Administration
- Oversee administrative HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, personnel records, payroll coordination, and recruiting support
- Support employee communications and documentation processes
- Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies
All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities as business needs require.
