Senior Software Engineer
Mphasis, in partnership with a leading financial services client, is seeking experienced .NET Full Stack Developers to join an enterprise technology team in Wilmington, Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned developers to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications supporting business-critical operations.
We are looking for hands-on technical professionals with strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, modern front-end frameworks, API development, and SQL Server who thrive in collaborative, fast-paced enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.
- Build responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using Angular or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Design and optimize SQL Server database objects, stored procedures, functions, views, and queries.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, QA engineers, and other development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot application issues, and support production stability and performance.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure application security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
Required Technical Skills
Backend Development
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and modern .NET versions, including .NET 6/7/8.
- ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and REST API development.
- Entity Framework Core, LINQ, dependency injection, and ORM concepts.
Frontend Development
- Angular preferred; React or Vue.js experience also considered.
- JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Responsive web application development.
Database
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- Stored procedures, functions, views, and query optimization.
- Database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
DevOps & Development Tools
- Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Git version control and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Familiarity with Docker and code quality tools such as SonarQube.
