About the Role
We’re looking for a Lead Database Migration Engineer to drive end‑to‑end Oracle, Exadata, and SQL Server database migrations as part of large‑scale, wave‑based datacenter or platform migration programs in a regulated BFS environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead migration strategy, planning, and wave sequencing
- Perform database discovery, dependency mapping, and readiness checks
- Validate source/target environments (Exadata, SQL Server VMs)
- Execute database migrations, replication, and cutovers using AMA or similar tools
- Coordinate production cutovers and post‑migration validation
- Support hypercare, stabilization, and source decommissioning
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, storage, and network teams
- Ensure compliance with governance, change, and audit standards
What We’re Looking For
- 8 years as an Enterprise DBA
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Oracle 11g/12c/19c, including Exadata
- SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 on VM platforms
- Strong skills in:
- Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN
- SQL Server Always On, backup/restore, replication
- Proven experience with production cutovers and large migration programs
- Exposure to automation‑driven migrations
- Experience in regulated BFS environments
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, CMDB
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
