Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with a strong background in Annuities and Insurance. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our projects align with strategic objectives and deliver value to our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in the area of annuities, to effectively analyze requirements and propose actionable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to annuities and insurance products.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure alignment with technical teams.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product development and enhancements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, use cases, and process flows.
- Support project management activities by providing insights and recommendations based on analysis.
- Assist in the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on key milestones and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Annuities and Insurance products.
- Proficient in business analysis methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance industry.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis or insurance (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) are a plus.
