MPF Products is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting Department. This role is responsible for customer invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, sales order entry, and supporting the company's day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Process and distribute daily customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Enter and maintain customer sales orders, ensuring accuracy of quantities, pricing, shipping information, and applicable sales tax.
- Reconcile customer payments and maintain accurate customer account records.
- Process customer credits and debits as needed.
- Review invoices and investigate billing discrepancies.
- Manage collections on past-due accounts while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Respond promptly to customer accounts receivable inquiries.
- Collaborate with Sales, Shipping, Accounts Payable, and other departments to resolve customer account issues.
- Assist with accounting functions and special projects as assigned.
- Maintain confidential financial information and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience.
- Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for sales order processing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and customer account management.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
