Role Description
MPE Consulting seeks an AutoCAD Designer for an on-site, full-time position located in San Diego, CA. The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating and modifying architectural and construction drawings, designing detailed system layouts, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of technical documents. The role requires close collaboration with engineers and other professionals, applying technical knowledge to deliver innovative and efficient designs.
Occasional travel required within the San Diego limits. May conduct field site surveys to review existing and new conditions.
Qualifications
- Experience with Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings
- Strong Communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings
- Ability to adhere to project timelines and work efficiently in an on-site team environment
- Familiarity with Revit and other design tools is an advantage
- Previous experience with Title 24 and lighting systems is a plus
