About the Role:
As the Video Product Manager, you’ll own the success of our video product portfolio from strategy to execution. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that involves working closely with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations, as well as directly engaging with customers. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping product strategy, driving revenue growth, leading development projects, and ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of law enforcement.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the planning, execution, and go-to-market strategy for video and assigned product lines
- Collaborate on product development phases and manage roadmaps, forecasts, and profit and loss performance
- Conduct competitive analyses, define product requirements, and develop financial justifications for new initiatives
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to meet performance and delivery goals
- Influence product pricing, profitability, and sales strategy to drive market share growth
- Support Sales with product expertise, marketing materials, training, bid specifications, and technical documentation
- Manage beta testing, customer feedback, regulatory approvals, and field implementation
- Represent Kustom Signals in customer presentations, trade shows, and industry forums
- Help lead the development of our Back-Office Management System, collaborating on SaaS, cloud, and storage designs
- Manage and train expert witnesses who deliver technical court testimony

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing/sales or engineering for complex, configurable products
- Experience with public safety technology, embedded hardware/software products, and project/program management highly preferred
Key Skills:
- Strong business planning and market analysis capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to build consensus across departments and lead teams
- Familiarity with digital video, IP networking, and data storage technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM or sales automation software
- Comfortable juggling priorities and operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Confident, action-oriented, and collaborative in nature
