Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented person to support RVCO’s Regional Optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. In this role, you will serve as a data steward for VCO’s models, ensuring data integrity, governance, and consistency across systems. As a senior member of the team, you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, contribute to executive-level presentations, and play a key role in advancing analytical capabilities, process improvements, and data-driven culture across the organization. Responsibilities: Conducts detailed analysis of refinery and clean products network data, identifying trends and discrepancies in performance and pricing, using various tools to generate insights that inform and guide business decisions. Lead the collection, validation, and management of data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability to support the VCO models. Assist in the development of presentations for key meetings with leadership, working closely with business unit contacts. Develop reports or tools to support analytics and monitor KPIs providing insights into performance vs expectations to Value Chain leadership. Collaborate with RVCO team and participate in meetings to understand their analytical and reporting needs to support continuous improvement. RO Projects: Support Regional Optimization project and initiatives by assisting with business requirements and testing solutions. Identify and drive process improvements, automation, and AI integration to enhance data systems and workflows. Perform ad hoc analyses and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required. Six (6) years in Accounting, Finance, Commercial, or related field. General understanding of operations systems such as MIPS, MPR, RightAngle and Planning Database is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required and experience in Power BI preferred. Experience with forecasting, pricing strategy, or network optimization is preferred.
