Overview
We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of skilled trades employees, ensuring equipment reliability, efficient operations, and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical expertise and strong leadership in a unionized setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 10–15 skilled trades employees.
- Coordinate troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Monitor daily production needs and adjust priorities to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
- Support and enforce labor agreements while maintaining positive employee relations.
- Lead accountability, training, and performance management within the team.
- Oversee maintenance of automated machining systems, grinders, lathes, furnaces, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Track maintenance activities using computer systems
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience managing skilled trades in a union environment.
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and ability to read blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working weekends and rotating shifts.
Preferred Skills
- Skilled trades background.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning software.
- Critical thinking and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Experience with automated machining and grinding equipment.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
