What You'll Be Doing
As a Control Panel Builder, you'll play a key role in bringing complex automation systems to life. You will:
- Assemble electrical control panels from engineering drawings, schematics, and layouts
- Follow proven company processes and best practices to deliver high-quality builds
- Interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials
- Complete panel layout work, including enclosure cut-outs and component mounting
- Work with a range of tools and materials, including wiring, drilling, and tapping
- Ensure accurate labelling and identification of components and wiring
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace
- Deliver professional workmanship on every project
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is eager to learn and ready to get stuck in. You should have:
- An understanding of electrical wiring methods and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Knowledge of wire types, sizes, and colour coding
- Confidence using tools and working hands-on
- High School or Trade School diploma (or equivalent)
- Around 2 years of manufacturing or hands-on experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Travel across the U.S. for project work (with enhanced travel pay)
- Overtime opportunities, including optional Saturdays
