Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
Located in Mechanicsburg, we are an online business that buys and sells products. We store items at our warehouse, and we both receive and send out packages on a daily basis. The job mainly consists of inventory management, packaging, and stocking inventory. Hours are flexible, but we are looking for more heavy part time and/or full time workers.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, tracking, and replenishment using warehouse management systems
• Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery using order picker tools and packaging techniques
• Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments
• Conduct materials handling tasks including stocking shelves, and organizing warehouse layout for optimal efficiency
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and mechanical safety protocols during all operations
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve processes related to warehouse distribution, inventory management, and overall workflow

Skills

• Basic math for inventory management
• Ability to perform basic packing and unpacking of shipments
• Stocking, picking & packing for order fulfillment
• Previous experience in shipping & receiving processes preferred, but not necessary.
