What You'll Do
As a Junior Buyer, you'll play an important role in supporting the purchasing process and ensuring materials and services are delivered accurately and on time.
Responsibilities include:
- Source products, materials, and services from approved suppliers.
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotes to identify cost-effective purchasing solutions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor outstanding orders and proactively resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and procurement documentation.
- Support supplier performance reviews and contract administration activities.
- Assist with cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Partner with warehouse, operations, production, and finance teams to support business needs.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Provide general administrative support for the procurement team.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP or purchasing systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
