What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Technician position at MP-HR?
Who you are:
Are you a hardworking and responsible individual who is mechanically inclined? Do you have experience as a Junior or Lead Technician? Are you a team player with a great attitude? If so, our team would love to hear from you!
What you will be doing:
- Sets up, tests, and maintains a variety of equipment
- Use various techniques to fabricate metal items, including welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing
- Read technical drawings
- Lead by example and model correct behavior you want to see in your team members; demonstrate excellence
- Directing a team of junior technicians
- Overseeing a crew of technicians
- Ensure the safety of their crew by giving regular trainings
- Ensure quality and quantity of the work put out by the shop
- Manage daily work of the shop
- Assist machinists
- Report to shop managers
- Handle customer service
Our ideal candidate has:
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic computer knowledge
- Willingness to work as a member of a team and bring a positive attitude.

For 35 years, our client has remained committed to their customers by providing sales, service and installation of commercial recycling equipment; operating out of their Rollinsford, NH facility. Our client is family owned and operated and is here to help you.
Additional information:
- Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
- Some weekends might be required
- Overtime available if required
- $30-$32/hour
- Company uniforms supplied
