Mopec is currently searching for Marketing Interns. This is an “onsite” position and will be based at our corporate office in Madison Heights MI. This is a first shift, hourly position. Hourly pay is $20.00 per hour. This internship will start in January and end the first week of March.Position OverviewWe are seeking collaborative and driven interns to support our Marketing Rationalization Project—a large-scale effort to optimize and unify our catalog of nearly 5,000 products. Marketing Interns will work cross-functionally to assist with 3D render development, spec sheet creation using Adobe InDesign, and general marketing administration tasks. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside an experienced marketing team and contribute meaningfully to a high-impact project.Key ResponsibilitiesDepending on strengths and interests, interns will contribute to the following areas:3D Product Render SupportAssist in organizing and prepping product files for 3D renderingHelp review renders for accuracy and brand consistencyCoordinate edits or updates between engineering and design teamsSpec Sheet Development (Adobe InDesign)Create or update product specification sheets using branded templatesInput technical data, organize product content, and ensure formatting accuracyCollaborate with marketing and product managers to finalize documents for useDistributor Portal Updates & ManagementAssist in uploading product content, spec sheets, and images to distributor portalsEnsure all product data is complete, accurate, and consistent across platformsSupport portal optimization through tagging, categorization, and metadata entryTrack progress and maintain a status report of portal content updatesMarketing Administrative SupportMaintain project tracking spreadsheets and file management systemsSupport uploading and tagging product content for websites, portals, and CRMAssist with light copywriting, proofreading, and data entry tasksParticipate in team meetings, take notes, and follow up on action itemsOther duties as assignedQualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Business, or a related field desiredWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) desiredFamiliarity with 3D rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot) a plus, but not requiredExperience working with online portals, e-commerce platforms, or content management systems is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable working with spreadsheets, file systems, and project management toolsAbility to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWhat You’ll GainReal-world experience in marketing operations, content creation, and visual asset developmentMentorship and exposure to professionals in marketing, design, engineering, and product managementA portfolio of tangible work for use in your future careerNetworking opportunities and the potential for future employment
