DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) - Community Habilitation
Mozaic is seeking Community Habilitation Direct Support Professionals. Community Habilitation (Com Hab) staff support individuals in becoming more actively engaged in their communities by offering opportunities to build connections, develop independence, and enhance daily living skills.
Com Hab offers a variety of skill-building activities, such as cooking classes to promote meal preparation skills, as well as assistance with attending medical appointments, managing finances, and improving cleaning and organizational abilities.
In addition to these supports, Com Hab also plans recreational outings to encourage social engagement and community participation. These outings may include trips to the zoo, museums, amusement parks, theater performances, movies, and other enjoyable activities.
Pay Rate: $18.00-$18.50 for part-time hours and based on experience!
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:
Part-time Monday - Friday Hours are flexible but typically between 8 am - 4 pm
Location: Penn Yan, Yates County
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required Minimally one-year experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or related field is required. Valid Driver's License is required.
