Job Title: Lawn Care Division Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager to lead our Lawn and Tree Care Division. You will be responsible for the overall success of the division, including strategic planning, financial performance, and team leadership. This role is perfect for a professional who can bridge the gap between field operations and executive management to drive growth and ensure exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Oversee daily operations, including Dispatch and Customer Service, inventory management, and setting daily production goals.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the division’s budget, monitor, analyze and report on P&L statements, implement strategies to ensure solid growth and profitability.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor supervisors and field technicians. You will foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
- Business Development: Lead the sales manager and his/her team to secure new residential and commercial contracts. Research and identify opportunities for growth.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections and hold regular training sessions for technicians, supervisors and CSRs to ensure all work meets or exceeds company and client standards.
- Client Relations: Maintaining quality and service are hallmarks of our company. That starts at the top. The Division Manager will ensure that all customer issues are addressed promptly.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local and state regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols, including proper fertilizer, pesticide and herbicide applications and equipment maintenance. This includes working with our Safety Manager to keep our technicians focused on safety, and ensuring that all of our equipment meets our safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years in lawn care or landscaping, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Education: High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Business Management, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in turf management, pest control, and irrigation systems. Familiarity with industry software like LMN, Jobber, or Real Green Systems is a plus.
- Licensing: A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required. Must possess (or be able to obtain within 6 months) a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs periodically.

- Division Profitability: Meeting or exceeding sales revenue, gross margin and net profit targets.
- Client Retention: Maintaining a high percentage of contract renewals and positive customer satisfaction ratings.

- Efficiency Score: Managing labor hours and maximizing revenue produced per technician.
- Employee Retention: Minimizing turnover through effective training and mentorship.
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
