Job Title: Maintenance Support Specialist

Location: 188 Airport Drive, Tobyhanna, PA (MPO)

Full-time, Non-Exempt, 100% On-site

Company Overview:

Moyer Aviation, Inc. is a long-established provider of charter services, air tours, aircraft repair & maintenance, and is a pilot training school operating from Mount Pocono Municipal Airport (KMPO) in Tobyhanna, PA.

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance staff with repairs and alterations to aircraft, aircraft cleaning & detailing, and provide efficient and safe aircraft ground handling services for the Company and customer aircraft. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Moyer’s facilities are maintained to a high standard. This role requires a hard-working, reliable individual with a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The expected career path for this position is growth into an aircraft maintenance apprentice, which can lead to advancement into a career as an A&P mechanic.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist maintenance personnel with maintenance & repair of aircraft

· Maintain cleanliness of the company aircrafts (interior and exterior)

· Clean and detail customer aircraft as required

· Tow, move, and position aircraft to support maintenance operations.

· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the hangar and surrounding areas

· Assist with facilities cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep

· Perform routine maintenance tasks on ground support equipment

· Track, update, and ensure that aircraft navigation data is up to date

· Refuel & reposition charter aircraft as required

· Assist pilots and passengers with luggage and other items as necessary

· Follow established safety procedures to ensure the safety customers and employees

· Communicate effectively with customers, pilots, and team members

· Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork accurately and on time

· Perform other tasks and projects as directed by management

Experience & Skills

· Prior experience in the aviation industry preferred

· Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on tool experience

· Able to work with a wide range of equipment and vehicles

· A self-starter that can work independently

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

· Coachable, and is receptive to feedback

· Comfortable working around running aircraft and noisy environments

· Strong awareness and commitment of safety protocols

Requirements

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Successful completion of background check and pre-employment drug screening

· Ensures full compliance with company, DOT, and FAA drug and alcohol regulations, including participation in random screening programs

· Ability to work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
