Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements during busy hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while multitasking seamlessly
- Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation, safety standards, and sanitation protocols
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and bill splitting accurately
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and knowledge of food industry regulations is preferred
