Join the team at Moxthe Lawn Care and help create beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces for our residential and commercial clients. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking On-Call Lawn Care Technician who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering high-quality lawn care services.
This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible, part-time work, with schedules primarily on Fridays and Saturdays, plus additional hours as needed. Whether working independently or alongside a team, you'll play an important role in providing exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine lawn maintenance for residential and commercial properties.
- Mow, edge, trim, weed eat, blow, and clean sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and landscaped areas.
- Operate commercial lawn care equipment, including zero-turn mowers, push mowers, string trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
- Apply mulch, fertilizer, and other lawn care products as directed.
- Assist with seasonal landscaping services, property cleanups, and landscape enhancements.
- Perform basic equipment inspections, cleaning, fueling, and maintenance.
- Safely load, unload, and transport equipment to and from job sites.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Deliver professional customer service while representing Moxthe Lawn Care.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (required).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of lawn care or landscaping experience preferred.
- Experience operating commercial lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and motivated with a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
