The Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving safety programs across all company branches for Field and Contact Center Operations including: General Pest Control, Insulation, Fleet, and Office Agents. This role partners with operational leaders to reduce workplace injuries, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture through training, auditing, coaching, and data-driven decision making. The position requires approximately 20% travel to conduct on-site safety observations and support field operations nationwide.
Core Responsibilities
Travel approximately 20% monthly to company branches to conduct on-site safety observations and coaching. Perform comprehensive safety audits for: General Pest Control field operations Product handling and chemical safety Insulation installation operations Branch facilities and operational safety Prepwork and Ergonomics of Field Experts Identify hazards, document findings, and develop corrective action plans with branch leadership. Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely completion. Develop, update, and publish company safety training materials based on: New products or equipment OSHA updates and regulatory changes Injury trends Near-miss incidents Emerging industry best practices Create and deliver monthly regional safety training focused on:

- Maintain current safety manuals, SOPs, policies, and employee safety agreements.

- Manage Workers' Compensation cases from initial reporting through resolution.
- Partner with Branch Managers to implement corrective actions that reduce future incidents.
- Investigate serious incidents and develop preventative action plans.
- Maintain compliance with:
- OSHA regulations
- DOT requirements
- State licensing requirements
- Company safety policies
- Ensure all required safety documentation remains current and accessible.
- Maintain safe driving agreements and workplace safety acknowledgements for all applicable employees.
- Conduct routine documentation audits to verify compliance across all branches.
- Conduct monthly meetings with Fleet and Licensing teams to review:
- Vehicle safety trends
- MVR compliance
- DOT compliance
- Licensing compliance
- Opportunities for operational improvement
- Collaborate with Operations, HR, Fleet, and Licensing to implement company-wide safety initiatives.
- Support branch leadership with safety coaching, inspections, and corrective action planning.
- Monitor company safety KPIs and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
- Develop action plans to improve safety performance across all regions.
- Identify opportunities to reduce operational risk while improving employee safety.
- Promote a culture of accountability, prevention, and continuous safety improvement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Risk Management, Industrial Safety, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5 years of progressive safety leadership experience in field operations, construction, home services, pest control, insulation, utilities, logistics, or a similar multi-site environment.
- Experience managing safety programs across multiple locations or regions.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- OSHA regulations
- DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Workers' Compensation processes
- Hazard identification and risk assessment
- Accident investigation and root cause analysis
- Experience developing and facilitating employee safety training programs.
- Experience conducting field safety audits and operational inspections.
- Ability to analyze safety metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Google platforms (Sheets, Slides, Documents) and safety reporting systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to travel approximately 20% nationwide.
