A Lead Barista combines barista duties with leadership responsibilities, ensuring smooth coffee shop operations, quality beverage preparation, and excellent customer service. They will support Store Lead, manage vendor relationships, and guide staff while maintaining high standards for coffee quality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, adhering to brand standards and recipes.
• Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly and knowledgeable service, anticipating customer needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, stock beverages and food items, and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
• Mentor, train, and guide staff on barista skills, including coffee and espresso preparation, customer service, and presentation.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of beverages, adhering to brand standards.
  
  
  

Skills & Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing, espresso and tea preparation equipment.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to lead and train others.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Flexibility and availability to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

$13-$15/hourly plus tips
