Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant medical history.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy. .
Skills
- Proficient in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to massage therapy.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments to tailor treatments effectively.
- Experience in a med spa environment is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills to explain treatment plans and answer client questions effectively.
