Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our salon. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the beauty industry, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record in salon, office, or retail management. As the Salon Manager, you will oversee various aspects of salon operations, including guest relations, inventory management, financials, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Relations:
- Enhance the guest experience through personalized communications.
- Welcome and check in guests professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and address guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain salon cleanliness and ambiance to create a welcoming environment.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage and maintain inventory for backbar supplies and retail products.
- Conduct monthly inventory counts and oversee product orders.
- Develop and adhere to a budget for salon supplies.
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking using salon software.
- Salon Systems:
- Ensure efficient use of salon systems and software.
- Keep consultation forms and client records up-to-date.
- Sales:
- Increase sales by promoting services and retail products.
- Upsell services and monitor sales performance to meet financial targets
- Employee Relations:
- Support and coach employees to help them achieve their financial and professional goals.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and maintain a positive work environment.
- Observe and assess employee skills, providing guidance and resources for growth.
- New Talent:
- Recruit and onboard skilled new talent.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to ensure alignment with salon values.
- Address staffing needs in collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, salon management, retail management or a similar role is required.
