Program Overview

The MoxaNEXT: Career Development Program is a structured early-career program for recent engineering graduates seeking to apply their technical knowledge in customer-facing roles. Participants will gain foundational training in industrial networking and automation, hands-on project experience, and exposure to three career tracks:

  • Technical Sales Engineer – Build relationships, understand customer needs, and demonstrate Moxa’s technical value propositions to drive growth.
  • Product Marketing Engineer – Develop messaging, demos, and go-to-market strategies that support sales and communicate product value.
  • Applications Engineer (Pre/Post Sales) – Partner with customers and sales teams to design solutions, deliver proofs of concept, and provide technical expertise.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition into one of these career paths based on skills, performance, and interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong technical foundation through Moxa’s structured training program on products, solutions, and applications.
  • Support customer engagement by preparing demos, proofs of concept, and technical presentations.
  • Partner with Sales Engineers on strategic accounts to understand customer challenges and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on messaging, positioning, and sales enablement materials.
  • Provide applications support to customers and sales teams, ensuring successful adoption of Moxa solutions.
  • Represent Moxa at trade shows, training events, and customer-facing activities.
  • Demonstrate and uphold Moxa’s core values in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Strong technical foundation with an interest in customer-facing career paths (sales, product marketing, applications engineering).
  • Understanding of Ethernet networking fundamentals (wired and wireless).
  • Troubleshooting experience with Windows or Linux systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify technical topics for diverse audiences.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn.
  • Prior project management, business planning, or leadership experience is a plus.
