MOX Cabinetry in Anderson, IN is hiring an experienced Cabinet Sander to join our production shop. You'll prep cabinet boxes, doors, drawer fronts, and face frames for finish so every piece leaves our shop smooth and ready to spray. What you'll do: - Sand cabinet parts, doors, drawer fronts, and face frames by hand and with random-orbit, detail, and wide-belt/profile sanders - Prep raw wood and between finish coats to spec, working through grits correctly - Inspect parts for scratches, tear-out, glue, dents, and defects and flag or fix them before finishing - Fill nail holes and minor defects as needed - Keep parts organized and moving with the production schedule - Keep your work area clean and follow shop safety rules, including PPE and dust collection What we're looking for: - Required: hands-on sanding or finish-prep experience in cabinetry, millwork, or furniture manufacturing - Attention to detail and pride in quality work - Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs - Reliable, on time, and works well with a team - Reliable transportation to Anderson, IN Schedule: Monday-Friday, overtime available. Starting pay $18/hr.
