Duties
- Supervise daily moving operations, including scheduling, dispatching crews, and coordinating with clients to meet their specific needs
- Calling and scheduling Customers for jobs and checking in with them along the way as their "Moving Coordinator".
- Oversee the management of moving crews, ensuring safety protocols are followed and productivity goals are achieved
- Coordinate logistics for equipment, vehicles, and supplies to guarantee timely and efficient moves
- Monitor operational performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive moving experience from start to finish
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all operational activities
- Lead team meetings, provide ongoing training, and foster a motivated work environment focused on teamwork and excellence
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management within the moving or logistics industry is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and vendors
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of moving professionals
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements related to moving operations
- Proficiency with scheduling software, fleet management tools, or similar technology is advantageous
- A proactive attitude with problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly under pressure
