Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid role for a Pediatric Physical Therapist. A minimum of 8 hours is required, but up to 15 hours is ideal. The role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions for infants and children with a range of physical and developmental conditions. Responsibilities include working closely with families to provide education and support, monitoring individual progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
This role can include patient care in the clinic setting in Scottsdale or seeing patients in their home setting (zip codes are flexible).
*At least ONE afternoon per week (3-6 pm) is required. Tuesdays or Fridays would also be ideal for the clinic setting.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Physical Therapy and Pediatric Physical Therapy.
- Experience in Pediatrics and Rehabilitation, with a solid understanding of child development.
- Knowledge in medicine as it applies to pediatric patients and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with children and their families.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Arizona.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Experience working in both clinical and home-based settings is a plus.
