Seeking an experienced Camera Operator (Owner-Operator) for our upcoming paid, non-union independent narrative series.
We are looking for a skilled narrative camera operator who owns a professional cinema camera package and has experience working on scripted productions. The ideal candidate understands cinematic composition, camera movement, and storytelling, and enjoys collaborating with a director and lighting team to create a strong visual style.
Production Details:
Location: Central Georgia
Production Schedule: 16 filming days within a 19-day schedule (includes 3 scheduled rest days)
Dates: August 23 – September 10, 2026
Lodging accommodations available for approved traveling crew members
Position: Camera Operator (Owner-Operator)
Responsibilities include:
• Operating the primary camera throughout production
• Providing a professional cinema camera package
• Collaborating with the Director and Gaffer to execute the visual approach
• Maintaining consistent image quality and camera workflow throughout filming
Compensation:
Flat Rate: $8,000 (includes camera package)
Payment will be made in installments according to the production payment schedule.
