Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and physically capable Movers to join our team. This role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and experience operating various moving equipment. Duties
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items safely and efficiently
- Assist customers with moving belongings, ensuring proper handling and care
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy items
- Drive box trucks or commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to transport goods between locations
- Follow route plans for deliveries or pickups, ensuring timely service
- Use manual lifting techniques to handle heavy or bulky items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and work areas
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during moves
- Assist in packing, wrapping, and securing items for transport as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is preferred
- Experience operating a box truck or commercial vehicle with manual transmission is a plus
- Familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks is advantageous
- Previous courier or route driving experience is beneficial
- Customer service experience is highly valued
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
driver or courier experience is preferred
