What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspection position at MOVERAS LLC?
Summary:
The Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections of various transmission components used in our build process. This person must have the ability to read, follow and interpret documents such as operating and inspection instructions, component diagrams and procedure manuals. While performing the duties of this position, the inspector is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, and must also be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspects components for quality, cleanliness and integrity
- Sorts, organizes and inventories components
- Interprets and follows written and digital inspection instructions
- Works with Cell Assembly, management and others to identify and reduce number of departmental escapes
- Works with management and other support staff to institutionalize new or revised inspection criteria as needed
- Ensures the highest levels of quality in work
- Other duties may be assigned

Education/Experience:
HS Diploma
2-5 years in an inspection role within a similar type production/manufacturing environment.
