About the Role
Provide vital engagement/direction to production and manufacturing management and engineers on various projects, improvements, equipment status, tasks, thereby ensuring efficient operations. Provide vital engagement/direction in manufacturing processes creation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan and execute experiments; collect and analyze technical data to support process optimization.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation aligned with technical specifications.
- Interpret blueprints and standards to ensure compliance in production processes and equipment maintenance.
- Support daily operations by resolving process challenges and improving methods through team input and problem-solving.
- Train and support production teams in adopting new processes and technologies.
- Design and improve systems, tools, and equipment using engineering principles to meet product and process requirements.
- Ensure equipment performance and reliability by optimizing utilization, maintenance practices, and uptime.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to maintain and enhance equipment functionality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of managerial experience.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software.
- Oversite, management, development of equipment management systems, including controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC operations.
- Foundational knowledge of machine controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC operations.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Spanish speak/write/translate a strong plus.
Salary : $130,000 - $145,000
