Overview

A global automotive manufacturer is seeking a Plant Quality Manager to lead site quality strategy and performance within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role serves as the site authority on quality and compliance, ensuring customer requirements and product safety standards are consistently achieved while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

As a key member of the site leadership team, this individual will provide strategic direction, strengthen quality systems, and foster a culture focused on accountability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System aligned with IATF, ISO, and operational excellence standards.
• Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring product quality and performance expectations are met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance and reduce risk.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to quality and cross-functional teams.
• Support strategic planning, reporting, and performance tracking activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Leadership experience in Quality within manufacturing (automotive preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IATF/ISO standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational improvement.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
