Overview
A well-established global automotive manufacturer is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a large manufacturing operation in the Little Rock Arkansas area. This executive leader will have full P&L responsibility and oversee all aspects of plant operations including production, safety, engineering, quality, supply chain, and continuous improvement.
The organization is looking for a transformational manufacturing leader who can drive operational excellence, build high-performing teams, and elevate plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Experience in automotive manufacturing environments is required, with metals manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Leadership
Lead all plant operations for a large-scale manufacturing facility (~500 employees). Establish clear performance metrics aligned with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
P&L Management
Own full plant P&L including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and profitability improvement initiatives.
Transformational Leadership
Drive operational transformation through lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and modernization of manufacturing processes.
Team Development
Build and develop a strong leadership team across production, engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain. Foster a culture of accountability and engagement.
Customer & Commercial Alignment
Partner with corporate leadership and customers to ensure operational excellence, on-time delivery, and high customer satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement
Lead initiatives around Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence to improve productivity, quality, and cost performance.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and automotive industry quality systems.

Experience
10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience within the automotive industry
Plant Leadership
Proven success leading large-scale manufacturing facilities with full operational responsibility
Financial Acumen
Strong experience managing P&L and plant-level financial performance
Manufacturing Expertise
Background in metals manufacturing, machining, casting, or similar industrial processes preferred
Operational Excellence
Demonstrated success implementing lean manufacturing and transformation initiatives
Leadership
Ability to lead large teams and drive culture change in complex manufacturing environments
