We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead skilled trades teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, supporting production performance, and developing a high-performing maintenance workforce while maintaining a strong safety and continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance/skilled trades employees
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support production goals and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues through cross-functional collaboration
- Review performance data to improve efficiency and reliability
- Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs (TPM, Kaizen, Lean)
- Manage staffing, performance feedback, training, and daily work assignments
- Partner with union representatives and ensure compliance with labor agreements and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3 years supervising maintenance or skilled trades teams
- Ability to read blueprints preferred
- Experience with TPM, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
