Controller

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Controller with a strong manufacturing background to lead financial operations, ensuring accurate cost accounting, forecasting, inventory management, and timely month-end close processes. This role will be responsible for driving financial integrity, providing critical insights, and optimizing accounting functions to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support business objectives.
• Lead cost accounting efforts, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost reduction strategies.
• Manage inventory accounting and controls, ensuring accurate valuation and reconciliation.
• Direct and execute a timely and accurate month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights for operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate financial policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and supply chain, to improve financial performance and cost efficiency.
• Drive process improvements and automation in financial reporting and accounting functions.
• Support audits, tax filings, and other regulatory financial requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
• 7 years of experience in accounting/finance, with a strong background in manufacturing.
• Expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience leading month-end close processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
