Occupational Therapist OTR/L

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work in a private practice, therapist owned, outpatient orthopedic clinic to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will assess patients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to promote physical and mental well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations on patients of various ages.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities
- Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries

Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of MI.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology.
- Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, hand and splinting experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient care
