Qualifications
- Experience in Loan Origination and Loan Officer responsibilities, including managing a pipeline of residential mortgage applications.
- Knowledge of Finance principles and mortgage products, with the ability to explain terms, rates, and options to borrowers.
- Familiarity with Underwriting guidelines and documentation requirements to help structure files for approval.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and clear communication throughout the loan process.
- Relevant state licensing and NMLS registration, or eligibility and willingness to obtain required credentials.
- Proficiency with loan origination systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration in Richmond, VA with remote work.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical lending practices.
- Prior experience in mortgage lending, banking, or financial services is preferred.
