Duties
- Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage to meet individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.
- Educate clients on post-massage care and recommend appropriate self-care practices for pain management.
- Maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with health regulations and clinic standards.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients to build trust, address questions, and enhance their overall experience.
- Stay current with industry best practices, new massage techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually improve service quality.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with active CPR certification
- Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Expertise in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy and prenatal massage.
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate clearly.
- Ability to maintain professionalism.
