Associate Producer

Move Interactive USA
Rancho Santa Fe, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 4/11/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 8/8/2026

Overview

We’re looking for an Associate Producer to support the execution of live and unreleased game titles built around world-class IPs, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and follow-through across creative and development teams.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Creative Director, senior producers, designers, developers, and artists to help translate creative decisions into clear tasks, documentation, and production plans that can be effectively implemented across both live-service products and unreleased titles currently in development. You’ll play a key role in keeping projects organized, tracking progress, setting deliverable goals, and ensuring alignment between teams—particularly within a cross-border (US to Korea) development environment supporting iconic IPs.

This is not a creative ownership role (although input is always welcomed), but it requires strong sensitivity to creative intent. It’s ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized, communicates clearly, understands how games are made, and enjoys acting as the connective tissue between vision and execution in a fast-moving, live-service development context.

Key Roles

  • Support day-to-day production workflows for live and unreleased titles under development, including projects involving world-class IP, by tracking tasks, milestones, and deliverables across creative and development teams
  • Help translate creative direction and design decisions into clear documentation, tickets, and implementation-ready materials
  • Coordinate communication between US-based creative leadership and Korea-based development teams to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Take detailed notes during meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items to ensure accountability
  • Maintain project organization using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar production platforms
  • Identify risks, blockers, or misalignment early and escalate appropriately
  • Assist in preparing presentations/decks, summaries, and materials to support internal planning, reviews, and decision-making

Required Skills

  • 1 year of experience in producer/game designer/project manager roles at a game studio
  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines and how features move from concept to implementation as well as specs
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting decisions and next steps
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments
  • Comfort using production and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar
  • Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations, documentation, and other materials for effective communication
  • Ability to operate with discretion, reliability, and strong follow-through in a support-focused role

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Korean language proficiency to support communication with Korea headquarters
  • Prior experience in a production, project coordination, or associate producer role in games or interactive media
  • Familiarity with live-service games, RPGs, MMOs, or long-term content development
  • Experience working with global IPs
  • Experience working with cross-cultural or distributed teams
